To get painting right, it is all about 2 things: Temperature and rainfall and Vancouver is all about rain. Not a good mix. Luckily, we have put together some data to give YOU the answers about when you can paint. (Sometimes we take a peek too)

January: WET & COLD - January has recent rainfalls of 175.7mm and lows of 2 degrees centigrade. Most exterior projects should not be attempted except under cover projects on days where temperatures do not go below manufacturers minimum air temperature.


February: WET & COLD - February has recent rainfalls of 83.1mm and lows of 1 degrees centigrade. Most exterior projects should not be attempted except under cover projects on days where temperatures do not go below manufacturers minimum air temperature.


March: Somewhat wet & somewhat cold - March has recent rainfalls of 34.0mm and lows of 4 degrees centigrade. Some exterior projects may be attempted depending on forecast of rain and on days where temperatures do not go below manufacturers minimum air temperature.


April: Somewhat wet & not too cold - April has recent rainfalls of 38.0mm and lows of 6 degrees centigrade. Most exterior projects can be done but ensure temperatures do not go below manufacturers minimum air temperature and rainfall is not abundant.


May: Mild - May has recent rainfalls of 30.2mm and lows of 9 degrees centigrade. All exterior projects can be done but ensure rainfall is not abundant. May have delays for weather if a patch of rain occurs to go over Vancouver.


June: Warm & dry - June has recent rainfalls of 37.2mm and lows of 12 degrees centigrade. All exterior projects can be done but ensure rainfall is not abundant. May have delays for weather if a patch of rain occurs to go over Vancouver.
